for major cosmetic brands.
While on the manufacturing floor, we found ourselves wondering,
"Could we create a razor that is even gentler on the skin?"
This led us to develop
a new blade structure equipped with micro-guards.
It was designed to prevent cuts from accidental sideways slipping,
while minimizing the strain and stress on your skin.
However, at the time, this innovative blade was never adopted
into a commercial product due to cost constraints.
Still, the thought lingered in our minds:
"There might be people who would feel safer using this blade.
We might be able to help ease the small anxieties
and burdens of daily grooming."
If we couldn't make it a reality through existing channels,
we wanted to deliver it with our own hands to those who need it.
That is how NIPPON RIKI KOGYO's original razors were born.
